The presentation was well-received and earned a significantly higher than average evaluation score from conference attendees.

March 23, 2005 - K Rudolph was voted on to the Federal Information Systems Security Educators' Association (FISSEA) Executive Board for a two-year term.

March 23, 2005 - K Rudolph (CISSP) and Sam Carter presented a session at the FISSEA 2005 Conference. Tom Melton (GSEC in 2005, now a CISSP) also helped with the audience interaction during the presentation. The session, "Running the River - Reading and Responding to End Users," addressed how Security Officers can identify classes of end users (based on the 5 classes of whitewater) and get the security message to those users. March 22, 2004 - Federal Computer Week (FCW) published the article, "Nuke Agency Shines Brightly in Security" by Diane Frank, which addresses how the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) earned the only A on the 2003 Computer Security Report card.

According to the article, "The NRC has instituted a security training and awareness program that other agencies are copying...."
