The course length depends on the number of modules selected and the depth of the material about each topic. We recommend 45 to 60 minutes of of an online awareness course as an annual refresher, and 60 minutes for a new employee orientation course. If courses are provided more than once per year, the courses could be as short as 20 minutes and cover a few topics for each release.
Custom courses also allow the choice of graphics style. We offer unique, original graphics created by professional artists. We can also provide images based on ones from photo stock companies. Course graphics reflect the diversity of the work force and include a wide range of characters (men, women, animals, and various ethnic backgrounds). Graphics can be produced as: illustrations, cartoons, photographs, watercolor paintings, or mixed media.
Answers to quiz questions can contain animated graphics or still images to encourage and reward course takers. Each quiz question answer has different graphics for correct and incorrect answers.
On one course, we worked with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to develop the character, "Cyber Tyger," as a mascot for NRC's security awareness program. Cyber Tyger was introduced to NRC through the online awareness course. Cyber Tyger is now used by several Federal organizations.
